A company's product was labelled as ‘read-to-eat once opened’. However, the implemented product standard did not include the clauses of hygienic conditions for producing read-to-eat products. Furthermore, the product is labelled with a shelf life of 18 months, which did not comply with the requirement of a storage period of 8 months in relevant standards.
The court sentenced that the company shall refund consumer’s purchasing payment and pay a ten time’s compensation.
